What are the opening hours of Chez van Rijn?
We are open every day from 11:00. Sunday to Thursday we close at 01:00, Friday and Saturday at 02:00. The kitchen serves lunch from 12:00 to 16:00, bar classics from 12:00 to 22:30 and dinner from 17:00.
Do I need to book a table?
You can book online, which we recommend for weekends, but walking in is always welcome: that is how we like to keep it simple. For groups of ten or more we prefer to go through your request personally. Learn more →

The Steak Frites: entrecôte with fresh fries and our own Chez Van Rijn sauce. The oysters, the steak tartare and the côte de bœuf to share are house favourites too. Learn more →
When is there live music?
A DJ plays on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. On Sundays there is live piano music around the grand piano at the heart of the room, and from 13:00 to 16:00 we serve our Jazz Brunch. The Chez van Rijn Jazz Club is coming soon; keep an eye on our site and socials. Learn more →
